100% Tuition Fee Scholarships, University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus, 2017-2018

Applications are invited for developing solutions masters scholarships for  intake. Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s degree level at the University of Nottingham in Malaysia.

The Developing Solutions Scholarships Fund will reach out to students who have the potential to make a real difference to the development and prosperity of their home countries.
The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus is an overseas campus of the University of Nottingham. The university is situated in Semenyih, Selangor, a town part of Greater Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Applicants must have at least 1 full year working experience after completion of the undergraduate programme. Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s degree level at the University of Nottingham in Malaysia.
Study Subject (s): Scholarships are offered in diverse fields science, technology and education, including the following courses:
Science, technology and education, including the following courses: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Communication & Computer Engineering, Crop Biotechnology, Environmental Monitoring & Management, Educational Leadership & Management, Special Needs, TESOL and International Development Management
Scholarship Award: 10 awards of 100% tuition fee scholarships are available for students from the developing and third world countries registering for taught Masters programmes at Malaysia Campus in areas related to science, technology and education.
Scholarship can be taken in Malaysia
Eligibility: In order to apply for one of these scholarships applicants must;
  • be holding an unconditional offer letter and accepted the offer by paying USD1000 for full-time Masters degree programme at The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus for 2016/17 intakes. A copy of unconditional offer letter and acceptance form must be attached together with the application.
  • be classified as an ‘overseas’ student for fee purposes.
  • have at least 1 full year working experience after completion of the undergraduate programme. Fresh graduates will not be considered.
  • must sufficiently enable to support the cost of living throughout the duration of studies.
Scholarship Open for International Students: Students from developing countries can apply for these scholarships.

The University of Boras offers scholarships to highly qualified students required to pay tuition fees. These scholarships offered by the University are intended to partly or fully cover the tuition fee, they are not designed to cover living costs.
The vision of the University of Borås is to achieve full university status and become the third university with full academic rights in West Sweden.The University of Borås is a Swedish university college in the city of Borås. It was founded in 1977 and has around 13 000 students.
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: The scholarships offered by the University of Borås are intended to partly or fully cover the tuition fee, they are not designed to cover living costs. The payment is not made in monetary terms; instead, the tuition fee will be reduced by the amount of the tuition fee waiver.
Scholarship can be taken in the Sweden
Eligibility: In order to apply for scholarships students must fill out the online application form. Make sure all supporting documents are submitted before you send your application for the scholarship. Your application for a scholarship will not be processed unless you have also applied for a programme. The details and merits stated below will be considered in the selection of scholarship recipients.
Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.

Foreign Affairs Information Technology (IT) Fellowship Program in USA, 2017


Foreign Affairs Information Technology (IT) Fellowship Program funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Washington Center (TWC). The Fellowship Program provides outstanding students with an opportunity to pursue an IT-related degree course.
Foreign Service Information Management Specialists support and maintain hundreds of applications and provide IT services domestically and abroad at over 275 overseas posts in nearly 200 countries.The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, less formally known as The Washington Center, is an independent, nonprofit organization serving hundreds of universities in the United States and other countries.
Course Level: Fellowships are available for pursuing undergraduate and master programme.
Study Subject: Fellowships are awarded in an IT-related field.
Scholarship Award:
  • Undergraduate Fellows (those beginning their junior year in fall 2017): Up to $37,500 annually for tuition, room and board, books, mandatory fees 
  • and some travel expenses for junior and senior years of undergraduate studies related to an Information Technology field.
  • Graduate Fellows (those beginning a graduate program in fall 2017): Up to $37,500 annually for tuition, room and board, books, mandatory fees and some travel expenses for a two-year master’s degree in an IT-related field.
  • Two summer internships, one at a domestic office of the Department of State in Washington, D.C. and one overseas at a U.S. embassy or consulate. The program provides stipends, transportation and housing for these internships.
  • Orientation to the Program and the Foreign Service at the Department of State.
  • Mentoring from a Foreign Service IMS throughout the duration of the fellowship.
  • Employment in the Department of State Foreign Service for those who successfully complete the program and Foreign Service IMS entry requirements.

    Eligibility:  
    Undergraduate Fellowship
    • Applicants must be United States citizens.
    • Applicants must be in the sophomore year of undergraduate study at a U.S. undergraduate institution.
    • Applicants must be expecting to receive their bachelor’s degree in spring 2019.
    • Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale at the time of application and this grade point average must be maintained throughout participation in the program.
    • Applicants must be able to attend June 2017 orientation in Washington, D.C. if selected.
    • Applicants must be available to fulfil the summer internship obligations (summer 2018 & summer 2019)
    • Applicants must be prepared to enter the Foreign Service in fall 2019.
    Graduate Fellowship
    • Applicants must be United States citizens.
    • Applicants must be seeking admission to a U.S. graduate school beginning in fall 2017.
    • Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale at the time of application and this grade point average must be maintained throughout participation in the program.
    • Applicants must enrol in a two-year, full-time master’s degree program at U.S. based graduate institutions only, in an academic field relevant to Information Technology. Applicants must be able to attend June 2017 orientation in Washington, D.C. if selected.
    • Applicants must be available to fulfil the summer internship obligations (summer 2018 & summer 2019)
    Applicants must be prepared to enter the Foreign Service in fall 2019.
    Nationality: United States citizens are eligible to apply for this fellowship programme.
