Hands Up! is a project about exploring volunteering as stepping stone for finding your future job. The idea behind this project is to create a playground for young people like YOU to discover what is available for YOU through YOUR involvement.
During 7 days you will:
- Explore volunteering in your country and share it with the group;
- Become a volunteer for local initiatives in Las Palmas city and around the island;
- Improve your skills and get ready for your future job;
- Find the media guru inside of you and create short videos about your experience;
- Take action and make your own volunteering project.
Eligibility
- Coming from Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Netherlands or Spain;
- 18-30 years old
Costs
- There will be participation fee of 50 Euro
- You will be reimbursed your travel expanses inside the limit (EUR 400 for Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy and Netherlands);
- You will be staying in shared rooms in our hostel located within one of the most authentic neighborhoods of Las Palmas;
- Catering will be provided.
