INSEAD Need-Based Scholarship for International Students, 2017-2018

INSEAD Need-Based Scholarship for International Students, 2017-2018

INSEAD Business School is pleased to offer Need-Based scholarship for students of developing countries. The scholarship is awarded for MBA program at school.
The program was generously created via endowed scholarship fund targeted at students from emerging markets. Their intention is to help build human capacity and to create economic and social value in the most economically challenged regions of the world.INSEAD is a graduate business school with campuses in Europe offers various academic programs including a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, executive MBA (EMBA) program, a master in Finance program, a Ph.D. in management program, and a variety of executive education programs.
Candidates from emerging/developing countries can apply. Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing a master degree program at INSEAD Business School.Study Subject(s): Scholarship is awarded for MBA program at INSEAD Business School.
Scholarship Award: Scholarship has a value of Up to €25,000.
Scholarship can be taken in INSEAD Campuses
Eligibility:  Candidates must demonstrate proven financial need and be able to provide evidence of their financial accounts. Applicants may be asked to submit additional documentation during the application process. Preference will be given to candidates residing in emerging/developing countries and for those who will have limited access to loans.
Nationality: International students can apply for the need-based scholarship. Preference will be given to candidates residing in emerging/developing countries and for those who will have limited access to loans.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have their previous degree.
Test Requirement: GMAT: GMAT reporting code (through Pearson Vue) is INSEAD: DL3-S8-89 MBA, Full Time. INSEAD does not have a minimum required GMAT score. Rather than focusing on

Rather than focusing on the overall score, they assess individual results in the quantitative and verbal sections of the exam. They need a student to demonstrate their strengths in both. In order to be competitive, the student should aim to achieve a score at or above the 70 – 75 percentiles in both the quantitative and verbal sections.
  • GRE: INSEAD accepts GRE scores. The ETS code to report the score to INSEAD is 0970 and the score is valid for five years. In order to be competitive, the applicant should aim to achieve a score at or above the 80th percentiles in both the quantitative and verbal sections.
English Language Requirements: TOEFL IBT: 105; TOEFL CBT: 260; TOEFL PBT: 620; TOEIC (all four parts are required): Listening and Reading: 950 – TOEIC Writing: 170 – TOEIC Speaking: 190; IELTS Academic or General: 7.5; PTE Academic: 72; and CPE: B.
How to Apply: The mode of applying is online. Apply and submit essays online (one application for all awards). In addition, please forward supporting documents (no originals or legal certification required), irrespective of campus choice, to the MBA Financing Office. List of documents required:
  • Proof of salary (latest salary slip or a letter from their employer);
  • Bank statements for the last three months that will reflect your checking and savings accounts. An on-line overview is accepted.
  • If they have extenuating/exceptional circumstances in the past year (supporting dependents’ education, medical care, bankruptcy, etc.), provide relevant documentation.
  • Copies can be sent by e-mail: Finance-MBA.FB-at-insead.edu or by fax or by regular mail.
Application Deadline: The scholarship application deadline is January 31, 2017.

Danish Government Summer Language Scholarships for International Students in Denmark, 2017

Danish Government Summer Language Scholarships for International Students in Denmark, 2017


There is a great opportunity for the students of Israel, Russia, China, Canada, USA and various EU countries. The summer language course scholarships are available for students enrolled in full-degree programmes in institutions of higher education.
The Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education is the Danish ministry in charge of research, innovation and education above high school/upper secondary school. Students can apply for a scholarship under the Cultural Agreements programme to attend a Danish Summer Language Course.
Course Level: The summer language course scholarships are available for students enrolled in full-degree programmes in institutions of higher education.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded to attend a Danish Summer Language Course.
Scholarship Award: Students do not have to pay tuition for the course, the scholarship covers the tuition fee. Depending on the course the students will attend, the students will either have to pay for accommodation and meals themselves, or it will 
be provided by the course organiser:
If accommodation and/or meals are provided by the course organiser, it will be deducted from the DKK 5000 scholarship.
If accommodation and meals are not provided for by the course organiser, the students receive the DKK 5000 scholarship upon arrival to cover their accommodation and meals.
Please note that students must cover all travel expenses and other personal expenses (shopping, gifts, souvenirs, etc.) by themselves.
Number of Scholarships: There are 220 scholarships available for the Danish Summer Language Courses in 2017.

  • The summer language courses in Danish are open to bachelor, master’s and PhD students.
  • The summer language course scholarships are available for students enrolled in full-degree programmes in the following countries and/or institutions:
    Group 1: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Turkey and United Kingdom.
    Japan (4 scholarships for participation in Danish Language Summer Courses of 3 weeks’ duration.)
    Group 2: Israel (3 scholarships for participation in Danish Summer Language courses of 3 weeks’ duration. One of these scholarships is reserved for a teacher from Danmarksskolen in Israel).
    -Russia (6 scholarships for participation in Danish Summer Language Courses of 3 weeks’ duration.)
    -The following institutions in China (exclusively): Beijing Foreign Studies University, The Danish Department, The Institute of European Language and Culture, Beijing, P.R. China

How to Apply: Applicants from Group 1 and 3 should apply directly to the course organizer. Please be aware of the following before applying:
  • Important! Students can apply to one course only. You will however be able to select a second choice, in case you cannot be placed in the course that you have picked as your first choice. Students who apply several places will be not be able to select the course themselves, but will be placed by the Agency to the best of its judgement.
  • Students will not be awarded ECTS-points for attending a summer language course. These language courses are not ECTS awarding courses.
    Course organizers reserve the right to consider the distribution of nationalities in the final selection of candidates for the summer language courses. Previous experience has shown that over representation of any nationality on the individual course is not desirable.
  • They recommend that accepted applicants, who will need a visa, contact the Danish diplomatic representation in their home country well in advance of their entry into Denmark. If you need a visa for your study period in Denmark
