INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE TRAINEE PROGRAMME (MUNICH)

Our International Graduate Trainee Programme will give you a thorough introduction into the many different activities of a leading global reinsurer and advance your personal development. Over a period of 24 months, you will be provided with a firm grounding in professional, methodological and social skills, on the basis of which you will subsequently be able to assume a position of responsibility at Munich Re worldwide. There is no application deadline, we are hiring throughout the year.



WE OFFER
Exciting, varied work focusing on risk underwriting in the core business of Munich Re (incl. e.g. cyber or agricultural underwriting), or alternatively or data analytics, IT, reserving or integrated risk management
Training on the job and training trips in crossover areas.
A three-month assignment abroad in order to extend your multicultural abilities
A comprehensive global programme of further training specially for trainees, enabling you to acquire specialised knowledge and build up your methodical expertise
An opportunity to quickly build up a broad network in the company

WE EXPECT
An above-average university degree (Bachelor/Master/PhD)
Practical work experience, ideally in the insurance/financial industry, or in the fields of IT, cyber/information security, reserving, agribusiness or integrated risk management)
Experience abroad during your studies or in the form of practical training
Outstanding English skills, and ideally another foreign language
Communicative competence, strong analytical abilities, empathy, and willingness to learn

UNESCO/Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowship Program 2017

Fellowship: approximately  USD 392.85

Description

Applications are invited for 40 UNESCO/POLAND Co-Sponsored Research Fellowships for applicants from Africa, Arab states, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and Caribbean. Fellowships will be given to undertake an individual research programme in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering.

Eligibility

  • Hold the Bachelor’s or M.Sc. degrees;
  • Be proficient in reading and writing English;
  • Be a member of Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Fellowship

  • Free tuition and access to the university facilities based on the local regulations. Accommodation at the AGH UST Student Campus organised for fellows by the UNESCO AGH Chair.
  • Monthly allowance of approximately  USD 392.85 corresponding to the salary of a local junior research fellow. Thus, all living expenses and accommodation in Poland are to be borne by the fellow with this allowance;
  • No provision to finance or lodge family members is made;
  • At the end of the research studies, the beneficiaries will receive a certificate attesting to their attendance at the host institution, this certificate will be given after receipt of the requested reports and financial clearance from the Institution.
