Power of Entrepreneurship is a 5-day entrepreneurship regional exchange workshop for early-stage entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs (an inside entrepreneur, or an entrepreneur within an existing organization, who uses entrepreneurial skills to turn a new idea or project into a profitable venture for the company) from ASEAN between the ages of 18-30.
During the YSEALI Regional Exchange, participants can expect to:
- Go through the process of evaluating a venture/idea, making appropriate adjustments, and building a plan of action
- Improve entrepreneurial skillsets such as marketing, fundraising, pitching, and more!
- Meet with expert mentors to get feedback on next steps
- Network and collaborate with top young entrepreneurial leaders from ASEAN
Eligibility:
- Citizen and resident of one of the 10 ASEAN members states (Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Philippines,Burma, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, or Vietnam)
- Between the ages of 18 and 30
- Member of YSEALI (If you are not yet a member, please register now at www.yseali.state.gov – there is no cost to become a member)
- Have a well thought-out idea that you are committed to pursuing and growing into a venture (as an entrepreneur) or inside an existing organization (intrapreneurs – an “inside” entrepreneur, or an entrepreneur within an existing organization, who uses entrepreneurial skills to turn a new idea or project into a profitable venture for the company)
- Available to participate in the full length of the Exchange in Ho Chi Minh City (May 27-31, 2015)
